Day 2 - the Campaign Struggles

Only a gesso wash done today on the background started yesterday.  So, we celebrate things already completed and taken to the gallery!  Tomorrow is another day after all!

    Welcome to the evolution! That's without the "r" usually put there. This is the evolution of the artist in resolution and rebellion! Fabulous words. Fabulous resolve. Love the Santas. Love the brushwork and paper-towel-with-paint in progress. Love the not-to-be-denied artist.

    exactly what The Other Betsy said! Besides making beautiful ornaments for the tree or mantel, these would make unusual candle snuffers too (from one who burns a lot of candles)
