In the case of artistic endeavor, the gathering storm has to mean The Perfect Storm, since it's so much of who the artist is, comma, really! The pressure builds almost barometrically, and then is released when something, anything, is finished. And then, as you said, it begins again. Happy building, happy finishing! Glad for pictures!
